Redcliffe Aero Club is an exciting and friendly environment for pilots.  Redcliffe Aero Club provides quality flight instruction, quality aircraft hire and quality charter services.  Our instructors are trained to the highest standards to ensure the delivery of our training exceeds and the customer service expectations of our Members and charter clients.

 

The Aero Club provides it's permanent line pilots with ABOVE AWARD remuneration and a working atmosphere that is friendly and interested in developing your skills.  Our focus is on achieving a friendly club atmosphere and pilot training to an exceptional standard.  Successful applicants must meet the minimum criteria (which includes a current Instructor Rating).   

 


We are currently seeking interest from quality Flight Instructors to join the RAC Team. 

This need is due to some of our long term staff transitioning to Airline positions in recent months. 

These positions require weekend work - The successful applicants must be available for an immediate start, and will care about training quality.  You will also be able to work in a close "family type" team environment and be able to supply some excellent references..

Minimum Criteria

 

 

 

Selection Criteria

 

  • Current Australian Grade 3 Flight Instructor Rating or greater
  • Current CPL (A) or ATPL (A)
  • Current Queensland Blue Card
  • Current Dangerous Goods Certificate

  • Current ASIC 

  • Current Class 1 Medical

  • NVFR Rating


  • Genuine interest in Aviation & Workplace Safety and prepared to appropriately voice safety & compliance issues to management where identified 

  • Outstanding Communication & People Skills

  • Able to work well in a close team environment

  • Able to work reliably, without supervision and show initiative

  • Mid Term time commitment to the Aero Club

  • Genuine interest in seeing people achieve high standards
  • Able to work weekends consistently
  • Able to work as our workload requires
  • Sound Aeronautical Knowledge
  • Sound Knowledge of CASA Day VFR Syllabus
  • Sound Knowledge of CAO, AIP, CAR documents

Desirable but not essential

  • Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating
  • Certificate IV Workplace Training & Assessment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products 
  • 100 hrs instructional experience preferred but not essential
  • Multi Engine Training Approval
