Tony Stanton - Chief Executive Officer Tony Stanton  Chief Flying Instructor / Chief Pilot / Chief Executive Officer - CASA Delegate
  • Tony has over 17 years flying experience and holds an ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence).  Tony looked around for a good club to get back 'into' flying and enjoyed the atmosphere here so much, he joined us.  Tony has previously worked as a Director of Marketing for a US international marketing company, living & operating projects in Brunei, Singapore, South Korea & Australasia.  Tony holds a Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating with endorsements in, and able to conduct training on PC-12, Chieftain, Navajo, Twin Comanche, Duchess, Partenavia, Cessna 310 & Cessna 340.  Tony holds a CASA Multi Engine Training Approval.

Rob Beaumont - CASA ATO & Grade 1 Instructor Rob Beaumont Assistant Chief Flying Instructor / CASA Approved Testing Officer
  • Rob is a CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) approved testing officer. Rob is a CASA Delegate.  With around 10,000 hours and over 25 years flying experience, Rob has operated multi-engine charter operations in North Queensland.  Rob also has many students now working with major airlines.  Rob until recently has been the Chief Flying Instructor at RAC for over twelve years and now assists Tony as an Assistant CFI, and also as a CASA Authorised Testing Officer.

Richard Beer -  Grade 1 Flight Instructor - Full Time
  • Richard has joined the RAC team from Australasian Jet where he conducted Check and Training of line pilots as senior base pilot in Darwin.  Richard was responsible for 30 pilots across 6 bases.  Richard is a Grade 1 Instructor with a multi engine training approval and has experience on Piper Cheyenne, Chieftain, Cessna 310, 402, 208, and PN68. 

Liam Pulford-  Grade 1 Flight Instructor
  • Liam has a strong military background flying aircraft such as - F/A-18 Hornet, CT4, PC9, Macchi, and BAE Hawks.  Liam has experience not only as an operational fighter pilot for the RAAF, but also as an RAAF flight & RAF tactics Instructor on Hawk's & PC-9's .  Liam has also worked on contract - training the Royal Saudi Air Force.  He has experience as a PC9 low level aerobatics display pilot and can provide tail wheel and aerobatics training. Liam has recently secured a position with QANTAS on the A330 and is hoping to return in the near future in a casual capacity instructing.

Mal McAdam -  Grade 2 Flight Instructor & Charter Pilot - Full Time 
  • Mal has been flying for 7 years, with all his training being here at the Redcliffe Aero Club.  This followed a successful career as a senior technician with Telstra, before deciding to pursue his long term passion of flying.  After obtaining his CPL, Mal gained aerial survey experience in both Cessna 320 and Cessna 420 twin engine aircraft, before deciding to become a Flight Instructor.
Lee Goodrich -  Grade 2 Flight Instructor & Charter Pilot - Full Time
  • Having recently completed his CPL and Instructor Rating here at Redcliffe Aero Club, Lee is the latest member of our team.  Lee ran his own engineering company for many years in the UK until deciding to sell up and move to sunny South East Queensland and fulfil a life long ambition to pursue a career in aviation.  Lee holds an instrument rating and is currently working through his ATPL.  

Brad Crompton -  Grade 2 Flight Instructor - Full Time
  • Brad has a background in transport logistics, running his own local transport operation, recently leaving behind a successful small business to pursue his aviation career.  Brad has experience volunteering his instructional skills with the Amberley Air Force Cadets.   

Gerry Dick -  Grade 2 Flight Instructor - Specialised Aerobatics Instructor
  • Gerry specialises in aerobatics and tail-wheel training, including competition aerobatics to Sportsman level. Gerry holds a Bachelor of Aviation Degree, with focus on Crew Resource Management, safety and airmanship.  Gerry is a member of the Australia Aerobatics Club and is the Australian importer for Citabria and Decathlon aircraft (owner of Aerobatics Australia).

Ben Yaxley - Grade 3 Flight Instructor - Full Time

  • Ben has held a Commercial Pilot Licence for three years and has just recently completed a comprehensive 9 week full time course to qualify as an RAC Flight Instructor.  Ben holds a command multi engine instrument rating with endorsements on C310/340 and PN68.   

 

Dan Smith - Grade 3 Flight Instructor - Full Time

  • Dan has held a Commercial Pilot Licence now for sometime and has just recently completed a comprehensive 9 week full time training course to qualify as an RAC Flight Instructor.

Joan McGufficke - OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR-  (Mon, Tues, Wed)

  • Joan is the helpful voice you often hear on the phone.  Joan keeps us flying straight and level, of course Joan is much appreciated by all.  Joan co-ordinates our Financial Accounts and Office Management.

  • Greg has been a Member for six years.  Greg provides business management consulting services and is a Commissioner of the Queensland Gaming Commission.  Greg is a CPA and a fellow of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Management. 
Steve White - Club SecretaryVice President - Stephen White 
  • Stephen has been a member of the Redcliffe Aero Club for four years.  He owns a Cessna 182 and a Cessna 310.  Stephen holds a multi-engine command instrument rating, whilst still training towards his CPL with the club.  Stephen is the Managing Director of a national planning, urban design and landscape architectural company and is also a very active participant in Angel Flight Australia missions.
