RAC is happy to announce the newest arrival to the fleet, VH-XLB, a Piper PA31-350 Chieftain!

XLB is available to cater for our growing charter requirements, offering an airconditioned cabin with 10 seat capacity and a speed of 175kts.

RAC has added Cessna U 206G to the fleet for use in training and airwork operations. The U206G is an industry standard workhorse for GA operations because of it's range, versatility and uplift capabilities.

This aircraft is an ideal option for Students working towards a CPL, as they can supplement some of their C182 time for U206G time to gain an edge in the job market. VH-ASJ is also available to suitably experienced members for private hire and will be used for airwork applications such as fire spotting.

Our Cessna 414A Chancellor, is a 8 seat executive charter aircraft which operates up to Flight Level 250 (25,000ft), above the majority of the weather. 

It features luxury leather club-style seating, weather radar, TCAS, EGPWS, cabin pressurisation and air conditioning.

The Chancellor is the ideal aircraft for VIP and company transport operations. VH-FCZ will also be made available for pilot training, including pressurisation endorsements. Check it out on the Fleet Page

On April 28th, RAC took delivery of a near-new Tecnam P2008 Light Sport Trainer. This addition to the fleet signifies our entry into the light sport market and offers our Members exceptional private hire rates of only $150/hr!

The aircraft is VH registered and will be used initially as a basic trainer and private hire option. It is a 2 seat, composite design with a TAS of 110kts and glass cockpit.

Each month excluding Jan, we try to organise a flying event where Members can get together and fly to some great destinations. Some events are one day, some are over nights. Keep your eye on the calendar to see whats happening at the Club.
