CEO REPORT

Together with Brendan Power, our new Chief Pilot and Head of Operations, I fulfil the other statutory
role required by CASA, that of Chief Executive Officer. This is the first time in its 46 year history that
Redcliffe Aero Club has employed two staff to fulfil the statutory roles. These appointments are
recognition by our Board of the complexity of the roles and the disparate skills and backgrounds
required to fulfil these roles at the highest level.

For those that don’t know my background, I have been a Redcliffe Aero Club member for 12 years.
I’ve served on the committee continuously for 8 years from 2004 to 2012, holding positions of
Director, Company Secretary, Vice President and President. I have also completed all my training at
the Club including, PPL, CPL, NVFR, Multi-engine Command Instrument Rating, Low Level Rating and
Flight Instructor Rating. I have been a line pilot at the Club flying charter in Cessna 310R and 414A
aircraft. I have also been a line pilot flying King Airs based both in Brisbane and Mount Isa.

I’ve also owned and operated three aircraft C182, C310R and C414A. Previous to this position of CEO
at the Club I was a Director and Managing Director of a national Planning and Design firm with 130
staff for 13 years. This background gives me a good balance between aviation knowledge and
corporate governance and I’m relishing the opportunity to help lead the Club into the future.

Brendan and I have an excellent working relationship with your Board and staff and are keen to bring
some fresh ideas and strategies to the Board for approval. I look forward to seeing you the next time
you visit the Club.

Best regards,

Stephen White
